Over 500 independent restaurants stopped splitting their earnings with DoorDash, Grubhub, and Clover. They switched to Innowi. They kept the money. Here's proof.
Pho Ha Plus partnered with Innowi in December 2023 to reduce reliance on costly third-party delivery apps and grow direct customer engagement. Two years later, the numbers tell the full story.
Pho Ha Plus had been serving the San Jose community since 2018. By 2023, a large and growing share of their online orders came through DoorDash and UberEats, which meant a large and growing share of their revenue was leaving the restaurant before Ivy Tran could do anything
about it.
Third-party commissions were eating 20–28% of every delivery order. Beyond the cost, Ivy had no visibility into who her delivery customers actually were. No email address, no phone number, no order history, all of that data belonged to the platforms, not to her restaurant.
Pho Ha Plus partnered with Innowi in December 2023. The transition took 48 hours. Innowi implemented a fully branded direct ordering experience on Pho Ha Plus’s own domain — customers could order directly, pay directly, and Ivy kept 100% of the order value.
Two years after the switch, the cumulative results are clear. Pho Ha Plus generated $144,662 in direct online sales across 3,174 direct orders sales that would previously have had $28,932 removed by third-party platform commissions before Ivy saw a cent of it.
