Over 500 independent restaurants stopped splitting their earnings with DoorDash, Grubhub, and Clover. They switched to Innowi. They kept the money. Here's proof.
Rancho Steve’s Pizza has been a fixture in Rancho Cordova for years, going up against national chains on every corner. After consolidating everything — POS, ordering, marketing, and website — onto Innowi, the results showed up fast: it’s now ranking #1 for nearly a third of the searches that matter most, and its best month did 4.1× the revenue of its first on the new system.

Rancho Steve’s Pizza is an established local pizzeria in Rancho Cordova, California, competing inside a five-mile radius claimed by Domino’s, Papa Murphy’s, Round Table Pizza, and Pizza Hut. Being known in the neighborhood hadn’t translated into being found online — the kind of gap that’s easy to miss until you look at how few of your own searches you’re actually winning.
Like most independent restaurants, the natural starting point was a patchwork: a POS system from one vendor, a website from another, marketing left to whoever had time for it, and reviews and loyalty left to chance. Separate logins, separate bills, no shared customer data — and no realistic budget to out-spend national chains on ads. Five vendors, five bills, and no single source of truth on who the customer actually was.
Instead of adding a sixth vendor, ownership consolidated everything onto Innowi — POS, online ordering, marketing, and a custom website, on a single contract. That meant Rancho Steve’s kept what it never had before: its own domain and website (no rented template), its own customer data (not locked in a vendor’s system), and the SEO equity it’s building month over month. SEO work began in week one: Innowi built and indexed 90 location and menu-item landing pages and optimized the Google Business Profile before the first month on the new system was even over.
The approach treated SEO as the foundation and paid media as a bonus. Alongside the 90-page SEO build, Innowi grew Rancho Steve’s Instagram organically, brokered three barter partnerships with local Sacramento-area food influencers — paid in pizza, not cash — and produced 34 AI-generated menu photos for roughly three dollars total, replacing a traditional photo shoot.
Micro-Stats
| 90 Indexed SEO pages Live week one | 3 Barter influencer partnerships Paid in pizza | $3.06 Spent on 34 menu photos AI-generated | <$300 Combined ad spend 3.5 months |
Four months of Google Search Console, SEMrush, and POS data tell one consistent story: visibility built early kept compounding — even in the month the ad budget didn’t run.
Revenue by month
| Month | Total sales | Note |
| April 2026 | $4,622.90 | Launch month on the new system |
| May 2026 | $18,948.54 | Peak month — 4.1× the launch month |
| June 2026 | $17,696.71 | Ad spend cut 78% mid-month; rankings still improved |
| July 2026* | $9,260.78 | Partial month — 2 of ~4 weeks |
May alone did 4.1× the revenue of the launch month. Across all four months, $50,500+ came in — the large majority through Rancho Steve’s own site and front counter. None of it was ceded to a third-party delivery app.
As of today (July 20, 2026): “steve’s pizza coupons” climbed 97 spots in 30 days to Google’s #3 result; Rancho Steve’s now appears inside Google’s AI Overview for “steve o pizza and ribs”; 11 searches — including “pizza rancho cordova ca” and “steve’s pizza near me” — place it in Google’s 3-listing Map Pack; Google now shows full brand sitelinks under the restaurant’s own name; and 84% of all tracked keywords now rank somewhere on Google.
Rancho Steve’s replaced its POS, marketing, ads, loyalty, and website vendors with one system — and kept its own data. 500+ restaurants have made the same switch.
